Mid Century Brutalist Bernard Rooke Studio Pottery Sculpture Weed Pot Vase

Unusual small sculpture weed pot ikebana vase by British pottery Bernard Rooke. Multiple rounded shapes merged together in contrasting matte terracotta and glossy earthy blue glaze, Rooke signature at lower middle back edge. 7.5”W x 4”W x 4.25”H, no chips or cracks.

Bernard Rooke (born 1938) is a British artist and studio potter. Rooke has exhibited his "Brutalist" Art worldwide, and is owned by many collections both public and private including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Cleveland Museum of Art, Nuffield Foundation, Paisley Museum and Art Galleries, Leicester Museum, Buckinghamshire County Museum, Röhsska Museum in Sweden and the Trondheim Kunstmuseum in Norway.

This is a vintage item that has been loved and used for decades, and while well cared for, has typical age appropriate wear. I have described the item to best of my knowledge by doing visual examination of item (not fully disassembled where applicable).
