Mid Century Modern Prototype Lounge Chair, One of a Kind

An unusual and interesting one of a kind functional piece of art c.1970’s. This hand crafted prototype lounge chair is made of solid oak and cleverly designed and assembled with oak dowels and clips. Arms can easily be removed to change the look and profile of the chair, they slide into grooves along the sides. Low slung with a reclined stationary stance which makes it surprisingly comfortable to sit in. Upholstered in light blue grey upholstery fabric. Overall great original vintage condition, some minor typical finish wear to the wood, and some spots of paint transfer. Upholstery has some snags and one light stain as shown.
